The way I look at it - it is what you want it to be. What you see, what you feel. Being an abstract artist allows me to live outside the box. What I see in my work both professionally as a photographer and as an artist and what someone else sees are never going to be the same thing. Art is subjective. To do so, we define the concept of an “urban pulse” which captures the spatio-temporal activity in a city across multiple temporal resolutions. The prominent pulses in a city are obtained using the topology of the data sets, and are characterized as a set of beats. The beats are then used to analyze and compare different pulses.
